Mechanistic vs Vitalistic

Is your body a machine? Machines break down after a while. Is your body just an attractive bag of chemicals and hormones that happen to collide into each other and somehow make the machine work? Is it just luck that allows what you see in the mirror to keep keeping on?

There are two ways to look at the human body.

#1 Mechanistic Way - Views your body as a machine. Machines are imperfect, machines break after a while. Machines (your body) have to be tinkered with from the outside when they falter. A mechanic with his tools tunes your carburetor when needed. A medical doctor with his pills adjusts the chemistry of your body when it goes bad.

Just one problem with the mechanistic view....THE MACHINE DIDN'T BUILD ITSELF....LUCK DIDN'T BUILD THE MACHINE...CHEMICALS RANDOMLY COLLIDING INTO EACH OTHER DIDN'T BUILD THE MACHINE.

Your body has an intelligence within. That intelligence was on the job when you were being created in your mother's womb and its been on the job every day since. The mechanistic view ignores this intelligence.

#2 Vitalistic Way - Recognizes the innate intelligence of the body. Realizes that the intelligence needs no help. It already knows how to organize the millions of functions that keeps the body keeping on.

Chiropractic works with the intelligence of the body. The chiropractic adjustment removes blockages so that the intelligence can do whatever healing needs to be done. Healing comes from the inside not from the outside.
